A number of key items have been completed or are close to completion. Most notably, our great room fireplace is finished! After a bit of a false start, we got the right masonry team to work the details of applying the stones just how we wanted. We are delighted with the results and how beautifully the mantel and hearth stone stands out.
The stone for the lower level family / pub room was completed as was the brick for the wine cellar. Our steam and infrared saunas were installed. Lastly, most of the work has been done on the whole house water filtration system. Because we have a well, we wanted to be sure the water was clean and bacteria killed.
The BBQ base structure is complete on both decks—a combo of aluminum and cement boards did the trick with less weight. The same stone used on the exterior and the deck pillars will finish the look and tie into everything.
